It was perfectly fine and met our needs. Positive: Spacious, great location, all the basics. Negative: A little bit tired in places.

Big Flat in Good Location, but Noisy and Many Problems Positive: Good location in the center of Norwich, very near the river though you can't see it. Free parking bay. The flat is very big. Negative: The owners don't seem to care. All the problems reported by the visitors before us (see review dated June 12, 2026) were still there, even the broken toilet flush. And booking.com still had incorrect wifi information (see review dated February 28, 2026). You really can hear every step taken by people in the flat upstairs, and we couldn't sleep until the busy pub next door closed at 10pm.

Frustrating, this place could be a gem but it’s uncared for. Positive: The location was fantastic and the property is nice and spacious. Negative: It wasn’t very clean. It was also lacking basic kitchen equipment; for example no spatula or serving spoons of any sort. No chopping board. No cafetière. No cleaning products other than washing-up liquid. Two large saucepans and no small ones. Freezer iced up. Fridge dirty. Shower head leaking. Toilet bowl stained, and no toilet brush. Loo flush overflowing and constantly refilling. Black mould around the shower tiling. Lots of empty picture hooks on the walls. Broken light fitting. Sofa was saggy. The whole property is run-down and unloved but could be excellent with just a little effort.

Fantastic location Positive: Fantastic location and brilliant to have parking on-site. Though it is very close to a pub we were never disturbed by noise and it was nice to have some buzz in the area. Even our small child slept well (not a common occurrence). From a location perspective it was A1. The beds were also very comfy and I think overall very good value, especially considering it was quite a roomy flat. Negative: The kitchen could have been better equipped, for example the knives were blunt which might explain the lack of a chopping board. It could have also been cleaner (top of the fridge had a layer of grime) and the random things in the cupboards (e.g. a duffle bag) would have been better to have been removed.
